TEHRAN , May 30 (Mehr News Agency) -- The sister of Nima Yushij, Behjatozzaman Esfandiari, died on Tuesday. She was 92 years old. Behjatozzaman was also called Sorayya.

She died in Tehran at the Kahrizak Home for the Elderly.
When she was born in the city of Nur in northern Iran, Nima (Ali Esfandiari) was 20 years old.
Nima was the father of Iran's blank verse.

She once said, "All of the members of my family were adventurous. My father was a model of a perfect man in our lives.
"My father was a man of battles and music. Nima loved him very much and always went mountain climbing with him. His best memories were from those days with dad on top of the mountain when they sat by the fire at night for hours."
It is said that Sorayya had a strong character. She was one of the few elderly people who praised the modern world, and she considered the internet to be the best medium to use for acquiring information.
A biographical documentary about Sorayya called "A Visit from Iran" is currently being produced and is to be broadcast on IRIB Channel 4 when it is completed.
