Tehran, Nov 11, IRNA - Iran's Communications and Information Technology Minister Mohammad Soleymani has said that people would hear good news about Iran's new satellites in the coming days.
Speaking in the opening ceremony of the International Space Week (Nov 10-16), Soleymani noted that Iran should make progress in the field of space technology in a gradual manner.
"Iran's Space Organization has already ushered in space technology and this move should be strengthened," he said.
The minister noted that all humans are entitled to space technology and no country or group should monopolize it, 'Iran Daily' quoted him as saying.
"Now we can make use of information collected by satellites and space knowledge to assist urban, security, environmental, social and cultural issues," he said.
