Dear Friend,
As you know, I have been the
leading voice in the United States Congress for peaceful relations with Iran. I
have repeatedly challenged the Administration's ill-advised and polarizing
approach. America needs a healing hand in the White House.
I intend to reopen diplomatic
relations with Iran and meet with Iran's leaders to begin a new era of peace. I
am also challenging the build up to war against Iran. It would be a great
tragedy for the world, for the Iranian people and for America if the United
States government moved forward with military action against Iran. I am
dedicated to averting any conflict against Iran.
My election as President will mean
a new direction and a new hope for America and our role in the world. Thank you
