In Celebration of the Great Master’s 800th Birthday.
A Day of Dance, Poetry Reading, Lectures, and Classical Iranian Music.

Program Details
 
I. Morning Session
Hosted by Pacifica Institute
 
Place: Kennedy Hall 237 A and B
(In the Law School located at the corner of Glassell and Sycamore)
Chapman University, Orange, California
 
9 am - 9:30 am: Guests Arrive – hot coffee/tea available
9:30 am: Introductions and Overview of the Day.
10 am – 12 pm: 
1. John Ishvaradas Abdallah, Author and Past President of South Coast Interfaith Council (SCIC): “A Sufi's Ruminations on One World Under God”
2. Documentary Film of a play about the Whirling Dervishes
3. Atilla Kahveci, Vice president of the Pacifica Institute: “In The Footsteps of Mowlana”
 
Lunch Break

II. Afternoon Session
