Currently in post production a French film entitled Les Femmes de L'ombre aka Female Agents is an all star cast of French (Sophie MARCEAU, Julie DEPARDIEU, Marie GILLAIN, Déborah FRANCOIS) and European Stars amongst which two known faces in the Iranian community one being Persian Italian Star Maya Sansa and the other is 2006 Berlin Laureate for Best Actor German Star Moritz BLEIBTREU who also starred as MalikShah  in Kayvan Mashayekh's successful Persian epic independent film The Keeper: The Legend of Omar Khayyam.

The film Les Femmes de L'Ombre wrapped up filming this summer and is due on screen in France in March 2008. It is directed by Jean-Paul SALOME.

Here is the plot of this WWII thriller adventure film based on true events and real life characters:

May 1944. A five-woman commando unit parachutes into occupied France on a daring and dangerous mission to protect the secret of the D-Day Landings and eliminate colonel Heindrich, the head of German counter-intelligence (Moritz Bleibtreu). Louise (Sophie Marceau) is a trained sniper and the widow of a Resistance leader. Jeanne (Julie Depardieu) is a tough hooker who won't hesitate to kill. Suzy (Marie Gillain) is a stunning former showgirl and Heindrich's one-time lover. Gaëlle (Déborah François) is a young and brilliant explosives expert desperate to see some action. Maria (Maya Sansa) is an Italian contessa undercover with the French Resistance. Five ordinary women who will become heroines.

Female Agents is an action-packed tribute to the real-life espionage operatives whose exploits inspired the film.

Maya Sansa's upcoming Italian film is to cast her as Albert Einstein's first wife Mileva Maricin currently in pre-production.
