TEHRAN, Oct. 20 (Mehr News Agency) -- The Center for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia
(CGIE) is to republish an ancient map of the Persian Gulf.
The map was designed by a French
cartographer in 1724 in Paris, said head of CGIE Kazem Musavi
Bojnurdi.
He noted that the center is planning to donate copies to
universities, libraries, and scientific centers in Iran and across the
world.
