TEHRAN, Oct. 21 (Mehr News Agency) - Cyclist Mehdi Sohrabi snatched Iran's first glittering gold in the world cross-country race in the Russian capital Moscow Sunday.

He stood top at the scratch race on 12 points and the runner-title up went to a Russian cyclist who bagged 10 points.

Amir Zargari from Iran took the bronze with 8 points.
