TEHRAN, Sept. 2 (Mehr News Agency) - Iran finished runner-up at the world veterans' weightlifting competitions in Hungary Sunday.

The lifters garnered 12 golds, two silvers, and five bronzes, winning 221 points.

Russia stood top with the same point and Japan ranked third on 212 points.
