Tehran, Sept 3, IRNA - Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said Monday that his government supports continuation of Iran-US talks on Iraq's security.
"The talks will definitely continue because they are important for both countries and Iraq and would entail tangible results," Zebari told reporters on the sidelines of the NAM Ministerial Meeting on Human Rights and Cultural Diversity in Tehran.
Asked about NAM, Zebari said Iraq is a key member of the Movement that has founded its political system based on cultural diversity and the goals of the meeting are of high significance for Iraq.
Elsewhere in the interview, Zebari said despite certain pressures on the Iraqi government, the country has a democratic system and the present government of Iraq is legal and popular.
He hoped that five kidnapped Iranian diplomats will soon be released.
