Marjane Satrapi to Stage "Broderies" album on Paris
Theater this Fall

The incredible
success of Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis
continues in France upon
winning the Jury Prize at the Cannes International Film
Festival has now drawn
interest on her other albums and future projects of her money making and
critically acclaimed franchise.
Satrapi will be
staging her Album Broderies
for a unique representation that based upon its eventual success will probably be
prolonged and go on tour, throughout the country.
It will be staged
this fall at the prestigious Rond Point Theater down the Champs Elysee in
Paris.
Little is known as
to whom will be playing in this theater adaptation but Satrapi is most likely to direct it
and maybe even play her own role, but that is not yet confirmed or denied by
herself or her entourage.
Director and actor Jean Michel
Ribbes who heads the Theater is known for staging many avant garde plays
and particularly those of Irish dramatist and 1969 Nobel Prize in Literature:
Samuel Beckett.
Taking her Comic
Book to a new level of expression and experience announces a new start for
Satrapi who has expressed interest in exploring other arena's in the Arts and
directing non animated films. We certainly can wish her continued success in her
new career.
