TEHRAN, Sep. 05 (ISNA)-Iran's supreme national security council secretary, Ali Larijani noted that the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany (5+1) and the IAEA had a good opportunity to take a positive step in return to Iran's goodwill and constructive measures to create a logical path in the nuclear talks.
Recently, Iran took a very positive and influential step over its remaining nuclear issues through setting a framework for the continuation of the talks with IAEA.
Also the IAEA and Iran's nuclear negotiators in addition to this framework prepared a draft for political agreement on Iran's nuclear issue based on a proposal forwarded by a European country.
"Iran is waiting to see its nuclear dossier in the routine process of the IAEA through accomplishing the other side's commitments," Larijani asserted.
He while expressing his disappointment over Bush's recent statement to call Iran peaceful nuclear project "a probable atomic Holocaust" said: "This kind of word coinage is proper for the countries with nuclear bomb such as the U.S. but not for Iran which has no nuclear bomb."
He went on "the U.S. government presumes that Iran is after making hegemony in the region because it does not have a correct understanding of Iran's modern Islamic view."
"Iran is a powerful, peace-making and decent country in this region."
