TEHRAN, Sep. 18 (ISNA)-Turkey has four months to decide over expansion of the phases 22 to 24 of the Southern Pars gasfield.
Iran's oil ministry care taker, Gholam Hussein Nozari said due to Iran's ex-oil minister and the Turkish energy minister's letter of understanding, expansion of the 3 phases of the Southern Pars gasfield were ceded to the Turkish side.
A joint company is also to be incorporated to build Asaluye-Turkey and Turkey-Europe pipeline.
According to this deal Iran and Turkey will respectively transit their gas to Europe and Turkmenistan via each others' pipelines.
35 billion cube meters of Iran's natural gas and 20 percent of Southern Pars gasfield phases 22, 23 and 24 will be sold to Turkey.
Nozari also regarding the export of Iran's gas to Poland, Oman, and Emirates added that the talks in this regard were being continued to reach a memorandum of understanding.
According to Nozari, Poland is also interested in investing in Iran's gas industry and purchasing Iran's LNG.
