Now in
its third year, IAAB's
popular youth leadership camp for Iranian-Americans grows from a steady flow of
returning students and newcomers every year. Camp
Ayandeh 2008 will be held at Emory University from June 22-28, 2008 and is open
to all high school students. This
year's original curriculum focuses on multicultural identity, leadership skills
and community building. The camp aims to create a safe and caring learning
environment that challenges students while drawing out their finest
characteristics through partnerships with mentors and dialogue with their fellow
peers.
The
$625 cost of the camp includes seven days/six nights of food, room, board and
activities, as well as local transportation. For more information on
the camp, please visit IAAB's website at:
www.iranianalliances.org/camp08. Application forms, as well as
instructions, can be found in the
Applications section of the website.
