TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- A group of Iranian medics are slated to launch an Iranian medical society in Italy in order to provide assistance to Iranian patients.
The organization, scheduled to open in the north of Italy, aims to bring together people of Iranian origin who are studying, have graduated or currently practice in the various healthcare fields, a press tv report said.
At present more than 250 Iranian medical experts work in northern Italy and close to 700 students study medicine in the country.
An essential aim of the society is establishing professional, scientific and technical as well as cultural links between Iranian medics living in Italy and those working in Iran.
The society hopes to provide assistance and guidance to those interested in medical research and education. Aiding Iranian patients, especially in times of crisis, is another important goal.
