Press TV -- Iran's Sepahan Isfahan FC beats Saudi Arabia's al-Ittihad 2-1 to clinch its first victory in three games in the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) Champions League.
Sepahan was dominant throughout the first half that ended up in a goalless draw. Mahdi Seyyed-Salehi put the hosts ahead in the 58th minute and Hadi Aqili doubled the lead in the 71st minute.
Al-Ittihad's last-minute goal could not prevent the Group A leader from suffering its first defeat in the tournament.
Sepahan lost its first two matches to Syria's al-Ittihad and Uzbekistan's Kuruvchi respectively.
In Group E, Vietnam's Binh Duong lost 2-1 to Australia's Adelaide United while China's Changchun Yatai beat South Korea's Pohang Steelers 1-0.
In Group F, Japan's Kashima Antlers clinched a 1-0 victory over China's Beijing Guoan while Thailand's Krung Thai Bank crushed Vietnam's Nam Dinh 9-1.
In Group G, South Korea's Chunnam Dragons beat Thailand's Chonburi 1-0 while Australia's Melbourne Victory suffered a 4-3 home defeat to Japan's Gamba Osaka.
