Sara Khosh-Jamal Fekri, who is the first Iranian woman ever to qualify for the Olympics taekwondo event, will not compete in the tournament due to injury but will accompany the team as a spectator.

Fatemeh Nemati, Aitek Memarzadeh, Zeinab Heidari, Susan Hajipour, Parisa Ghorbani, and Soheila Sayyahi are the members of the Iranian team and the coaches are Maryam Azarmehr and Minoo Maddah.
