Tehran, April 14, IRNA -- A special working group meeting on the Caspian Sea legal regime convention is to open in Tehran on April 15.
Special representatives and deputy foreign ministers of five Caspian Sea littoral states are to attend the meeting.
The draft of the Caspian Sea legal regime convention will be discussed by the delegates.
Issues of mutual interest, holding the first seminar on economy, to be held in Russia in the next few months, will be among the subjects to be reviewed in the meeting.
Peace, stability and security of the Caspian Sea as well as the upcoming foreign ministers meeting of the littoral states and the Baku summit will also be discussed.
Last year's meeting was held in Ashkhabad in Spring 2007.
The Caspian Sea states include Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Russia and Azerbaijan.
