TEHRAN Apr. 15 (Mehr News Agency) – The world conference on medical education of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) is to be held in Tehran in November for the first time.

Due to the close relations between Iran's educational department of Health Ministry and the WFME and in light of the agreement of president of the federation Dr. Hans Karle, the conference is to be held in Iran.

Representatives of 48 countries from the 5 continents will be attending the conference, the Mehr News Agency reported on Tuesday.

The World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) is the global organization concerned with medical education and training of medical doctors as well as undergraduate students.
