TEHRAN,
April. 20 (ISNA)-Iran is ready to resume talks with the US on Iraq security, but
the exact time for negotiations has not been set yet, said an Iranian official.
The delay in Iran-US talks has occurred due to Iraq's neighboring countries
meeting in Kuwait.
Iran and the US have met three times in Iraq to discuss security condition in
the country and find ways to restore stability and peace to the state.
Iraq's neighboring countries meeting will be a follow-up from meetings in Turkey
and Egypt which took place last year.
The two-day meeting will host experts from participating countries Monday while
the ministerial meeting will be held Tuesday.
The conference has taken a step forward in dealing with Iraq's issue and can
make clear many points on the next round of talks between Tehran and Washington,
the official added.
A number of Iranian senior officials including the foreign minister, foreign
minister deputy and foreign minister deputy for African and Arab affairs will
take part in meeting in Kuwait.
