ISMAILIA, Egypt, Apr. 30 (Mehr News Agency) -- Iranian Men's Sitting Volleyball Team won the World Organization Volleyball for Disabled (WOVD) Intercontinental Cup after beating Russia in Ismailia, Egypt, on Tuesday.

Iran swept Russia in three sets 25-20, 25-14, 25-20 while hosts Egypt were beaten 3-1 by Bosnia and Herzegovina in the third/fourth place match.

Iran's Davud Aliporian and Hassan Farzaneh were named as the best server and spiker, respectively, in the tournament.

Iran's Women's Sitting Volleyball Team came in eighth among nine teams in the female's category.
