Amman, Aug. 3, IRNA - Iranian women's futsal team has been crowned as champion in the West Asian Clubs Futsal Tournament in Jordan. Iran won the title after defeating Jordan 8-7 in the final game of the event Saturday night (Aug. 2).

Syria and Palestine ranked third and fourth respectively.

Teams from Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Iran participated in the event.

The tournament was held from July 28 to August 3 at Amman International Stadium.

The Iranian team includes Farzaneh Tavasoli, Zohreh Meisamie, Sepideh Zarin-Kafsh, Somayeh Jaber-Si, Elnaz Armat, Zahra Safari, Zivar Babaie, Soheila Malmoli, Nasimeh Gholami, Leila Eqbali, Shiva Amini and Azizeh Karimi-Pour.
