Beijing, Aug 11, IRNA - Iranian judo player participating in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games defeated his three rivals and advanced to the forth round of the Olympic judo competitions.
Ali Maloumat, the winner of gold medal in the Asian 2008 Championships held in South Korea, beat his Mongol rival in the third round of Olympic games by knocking him out.
Earlier, he won his Japanese and Portuguese rivals in the first and second rounds, respectively.
He is scheduled to fight with a rival from Azerbaijan today.
The 66 kilogram judoka won over Tomasz Adamek of Poland in the first round but in the second lost to reigning Olympic champion Masato Uchishiba of Japan.
Miresmaeili defeated Dominica's Juan Jacinto Jiminez in the third round.
He was outscored by Sharipov in the fourth round.
