TEHRAN, Aug. 17 (Mehr News Agency)-- Iranian weightlifter Asghar Ebrahimi came in seventh on Sunday in the men's 94kg weightlifting class at the Beijing Olympics on Sunday.

The 94 kg class, lifted 180 kg in the snatch, 212 kg in the clean and jerk and total of 392 kg.

Ilin Ilya of Kazakhstan won the gold medal in this class. He successfully lifted 180 kg in the snatch and 226 kg in the clean and jerk. Ilin won the gold medal for a total of 406 kg.

Polish Kolecki Szymon claimed the silver medal when he hoisted 179 kg in the snatch and 224 kg in the clean and jerk which totaled 403 kg.

Russian Khadzhimurat Akkaev, Athens silver medalist, emerged from Group B to get the bronze with a total of 402kg.
