US graduate chosen Ahmadinejad advisor

Professor Hamid Molana
A noted scholar and the founding director of the US-based International Communication Program is appointed as advisor to the Iranian president.

In a decree that was published by IRNA on Tuesday, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has appointed Professor Hamid Molana as his advisor.

Molana has received his M.S. in Journalism (1960) and his Ph.D. in Communication and Political Science (1963) from Northwestern University.

The Iranian scholar is among the top academics in the field of international relations and communications across the world and has served as a visiting professor for nearly 50 years in important universities in the US, the EU and other parts of the world.

Molana has written over 30 books on the US and the EU studies, Islam, diplomacy and international relations.
