Iranian Wushu athlete Ehsan Peighambari has won a bronze medal to become the
second Iranian medalist in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Peighambari snatched the medal in the taolu event with a score of 9.59 on
Friday.
The Chinese Wushu athlete ranked first with 9.83 and the Russian athlete stood
in the second place with a score of 9.63.
Another Iranian wushu athlete Zahra Karimi managed to advance to the semifinal
of the women's 60 kg category in the Sanshou event on Thursday.
Some 128 athletes from 43 countries and regions have participated in the event
to compete for 15 gold medals.
The four-day Beijing 2008 wushu Tournament kicked off at the Beijing Olympic
Sports Center on Thursday.
