TEHRAN, Aug. 30 (ISNA)-Iran's Oil Minister Gholam Hussein Nozari will travel to Oman during next days to hold talks on Oman's investment in developing Iran's Kish gas field, Iran's gas export to the country and bilateral cooperation on Oman's Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) industry.
The talks with Omani officials have had ups and downs over recent months.
Also managing director of National Iranian Offshore Oil Company Mahmoud Zirakchian-Zadeh declared talks are underway to send one billion cubic meters gas from Kish gas field to Oman per day as adding the agreement will be signed by the next March.
According to the agreement Iran will provide Oman with a part of its required gas to expand LNG Industry.
The pricing will be carried out according to international rates.
Oman is to change a specified part of its received gas to LNG for Iran's national oil company.
Guler is expected to hold talks with Turkmenistan's officials on natural gas agreements in September ahead of his tour to Azerbaijan and Iran.
He will later pay a visit to Azerbaijan to take part in an international conference on natural gas to be held on September 9-10.
The Turkish official finally visits Iran to examine discussed agreements and deals to be signed bilaterally.
In 2007 Hilmi Guler signed a series of agreements including the production and exportation of gas and power generation with Iranian officials.
Turkey and Iran last year signed a preliminary accord on joint gas production and export under which Iran's gas would be exported to Europe through Turkey and Turkey would produce over 20 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the South Pars gas field.
The investment would amount to $3.5 billion.
