Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said on Monday that advocates of human rights are making a nationwide arrangements to collect a 75 million signatures to protest violation of human rights by the sanction on Iran's aviation industry.

Every advocate of human rights is aware that the United States has adopted sanctions on Iran in line with its hostility with the Iranian nation.

Speaking in his weekly press conference on Monday, he said the issue is the worst example of violation of human rights which should be placed on the agenda.

"How is it possible that the western countries which are totally financed through export of arms regard themselves as advocates of human rights?"

"They export arms to promote tourism?!," he questioned.

"War is the main issue of human rights and by the time its status has not been cleared, speaking about human rights is merely a mockery when you impose war on others," he said.

On recent non-diplomatic allegations made by Canada's foreign minister on status of human rights in Iran, he said Canada itself is well-known example for its poor human rights record in dealing with religious minorities and the Muslims living in the country.
