Berlin, Dec 16, IRNA - Iran's Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark, protested on Monday to the Danish officials over misconduct with Iranian passengers at Copenhagen airport.
In a meeting with the airport customs, police and security officials last week, a representative of Iranian Embassy expressed Iranian strong protest to Denmark.
Officers of the Copenhagen airport "unusually" checked Iranian passengers in the latest Iranian flight to the Danish capital last week.
The officers got all money the passengers had with themselves and caused long delay by the unusual practice.
The misconduct caused strong protest of the passengers.
During the meeting with the Iranian Embassy representative, the airport officials apologized for the mistreatment and promised to stop repeating illogical and inappropriate behavior in future.
The Iranian Embassy officials said that the passengers would file suit to report the amount of the money taken from them by the Danish policemen.
