TEHRAN, Dec. 27 (Mehr News Agency) --
Actor Jamshid Mashayekhi and actress Jaleh Olov were paid tribute in a ceremony
at the 4th Parvin Etesami Film Festival held at Tehran's Art Bureau on Friday.
The festival is named in memory of the Iranian poetess Parvin Etesami.

Actor Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz was called to the stage to present
the award to Olov, who expressed her devotion to Etesami, saying, "My love of
this great poetess has greatly enhanced my interest in poetry. I am proud to
receive an award in the name of Etesami."

Veteran actor and dubber Morteza Ahmadi also presented an award
to Mashayekhi and said, "I believe Ferdowsi maintained great respect for woman.
I believe Etesami is the Gordafarid (the heroine who fought against Sohrab in
Ferdowsi's Shahnameh) of this land in the field of art and culture."

Afterwards, the Parvin awards were handed to the winners in the
presence of Deputy Culture Minister for Cinematic Affairs, Mohammadreza
Jafari-Jelveh and festival secretary Maziar Rezakhani.
The Best Documentary award went to "Season of Connection" (Panahbarkhoda
Rezaii), and the Best Feature-length Film award went to "These Roads Have No
Ending" (Tofiq Amani).

The Best Short Documentary award went to "Goodbye Green Valley"
(Fereshteh Joghataii), and the Best Animation award to "Why Dogs Hate Cats?" (Lida
Fazli).
The film "Empty Jar of Fish" (Atefeh Khademorreza) and animation
"Photo" (Maryam Khalilzadeh) received the Jury Special Award.
In the special section of best film with the central theme of
women selected from 130 cultural and scientific figures, the film "Mother" by
late director Ali Hatami received the award which was presented to his daughter
Leila.

In addition, author of the book "Da" Zahra Hosseini was also
honored in this section.
At the Green Frame section, the best documentary award went to
"Katharine" by Elham Es'haqi and best film award went to "Life and No More" by
Ruhollah Molavi.
At the Silver Lilies section, the best female director award
went to Elham Kian-Deji, and the best screenplay award went to Setareh Samavi.

The best researcher award went to Akram Jadidi, and the best
female cinematography award went to Simindokht Fallahzadeh. Rahimeh Shojaii also
received the best editor award.
Also in this section, Elmira Abdollahian got the best stage and
costume design award, and Baran Kowsari received the best actress award.

Meanwhile, several women heads of households were honored in
another part of the ceremony, which was attended by the managing director of the
Mehrafarin Charity Society, its actress ambassador Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, and
representatives of the UN office in Tehran.
The ceremony concluded with a live music performance by
Gholamreza Sanatgar and the presentation of copies of the Divan of Parvin to all
the winners.
