Kashan, Isfahan prov, Dec 27, IRNA - An agreement on educational, research and technological cooperation was signed by Kashan University and Australia's Queensland University of Technology.

Announcing this, chancellor of Kashan University Javad Safaei-Qomi told IRNA on Saturday that based on the agreement, which contains three articles, research projects will expand through joint investment by the two universities.

Arranging scientific and academic activities such as conferences, training courses, seminars and exchange of instructors and students as well as educational material and aids are among other objectives of the accord.

The two sides will appoint coordinators so as to implement the project and handle joint activities.

More than 40,000 students are studying in Queensland University in Australia.
