Just taking a look at the
morning headlines from ICH (information Clearing House) it is apparent that
there is plenty of "news" happening in the world this morning and people are out
and about and talking about it.
But, it is all in the
"Alternative Media!"
Most of it critical of Israel,
the US, the UN, and other countries that either support or take a passive
attitude toward what the rest of the "legitimate" media describe in general
terms as Israel's "right to defend itself against terrorism."
It is all hype, politics
and make-believe, anyway. Only the bullet holes, body parts, and the dead
babies are real.
How many must they kill
before....?
How many times must we ask....?
How many times must we
repeat....?
Alice chased a rabbit down a

Leaders
Lie, Civilians Die, and Lessons of History are Ignored
By Robert Fisk
The Bush
administration, not to mention the pusillanimous reaction of Gordon Brown,
reaffirm for Arabs what they have known for decades: however they struggle
against their antagonists, the West will take Israel's side. As usual, the
bloodbath was the fault of the Arabs – who, as we all know, only understand
force.

If Israel's
objectives are as stated, it is an obvious conclusion that they are destined to
failure. They have never worked elsewhere for anyone else, or at any other time
in history and, they have been failing for Israel for sixty years now.
May We No
Longer Be Silent
By Paul Craig Roberts
"How many
people do you have to kill before you qualify to be described as a mass murderer
and a war criminal?" Pinter's question can also be asked of Israel. Israel has
been in violation of international law since 1967, protected by the United
States' veto of UN Resolutions condemning Israel for its violent, inhumane,
barbaric, and illegal acts.

Ron Paul:
No Such Thing as an Independent Israel
By Jihan Hafiz
I don't think there
is such a thing as an independent Israel doing anything, because I think no
matter what they do its our money, its our weapons, and their not going to do it
without us approving it and if they get into trouble we're going to bail them
out, so there is no separation between the two.

Losing Tolerance For Indifferent Leaders
By Roshan Muhammed Salih
When people
feel there is no justice in the world and no legitimate outlet for their
justified frustration, things tend to boil over. And that's what happened at a
huge anti-Israel, pro-Hamas demonstration in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a.

Resistance
to Israeli occupation – a right?
Palestinians
are a people under occupation who has the right to self-determination under the
UN Charter.
The use of force as
part of resisting occupation in the Palestinian case is therefore derived from
the international legitimacy to recourse to armed struggle in order to obtain
the right to self-determination.

Blocks UN Anti-Israel Resolution

Israeli foreign minister Tzipi
Livni ordered the Ministry to "take emergency measures to open an aggressive and
diplomatic international public relations campaign," according to Haaretz. In
other words, Israel will spin its wanton aggression into justifiable
self-defense and get dominant mainstream media help to sell it, writes Stephen
Lendman at Global Research, ca.
On December 27, The New York
Times took the lead. It reported that "Israeli air strikes hit Hamas security
facilities in Gaza on Saturday in a crushing response to the group's rocket
fire. Israeli military officials called the attack an effort to force Hamas to
end its rocket barrages into southern Israel. Thousands of Israelis hurried into
bomb shelters amid the hail of rockets," making it seem like Israel resembled
London during the blitz, when, in fact, Hamas attacks are mere pin pricks and
only respond to first-strike Israeli attacks writes Lendman. After many months
of siege compounded by ongoing attacks, Gaza is gravely affected, and so is the
West Bank. Under the Fatah government, no rockets are launched, yet Israel
maintains a violent occupation, continues to seize Palestinian land, expand its
illegal settlements, and lets its residents terrorize Palestinians with
impunity, even in cases of wanton killings and destruction of property." Hamas
was democratically elected. It's the legitimate Palestinian government. It's
falsely called a terrorist organization, and it has every right to resist an
illegal occupation under international law. It observed a unilateral ceasefire
for months and extended peace overtures numerous times in the past. Israel
spurned them by dividing Gaza and the West Bank, co-opting Mamoud Abbas,
inciting Fatah against Hamas, isolating Gaza, and pursuing a policy of
aggression, killings, targeted assassinations, mass incarcerations, and torture
with full support from Washington.
I do not know what Israel
expects to accomplish by bombing, attacking, or even by invading Gaza.
They cannot kill them all (or
can they?), and unless they do, their outrageous killing and brutality against
humanity is going to leave such hot smoldering hatred and blood debt behind,
that guerilla warfare, rocket bombing, suicide bombing and sniping will be a
threat against all Israelis for as long as a single one lives on Palestinian
land.
Pinter was Jewish, a critic of
Israel's illegal occupation, and its brutality inflicted on Gazans. He was one
of 105 prominent Jewish signers of an April 2008 "We're not celebrating
Israel's Anniversary" petition. Its last paragraph read:
"We cannot celebrate the
birthday of a state founded on terrorism, massacres and the dispossession of
another people from their land. We cannot celebrate the birthday of a state that
even now engages in ethnic cleansing, that violates international law, that is
inflicting a monstrous collective punishment on (Gaza) civilians and that
continues to deny to Palestinians their human rights and national aspirations."
This kind of action is not
a path to peace. It is just a recipe, and a guarantee for everlasting warfare,
and yet more revenge.
Palestinians will never have
military or armed force to compare or compete with the Israelis in pitched
battle. But, a guerilla needs but one weapon, one man, and one bullet to kill
one enemy.
It is difficult to
believe that Israel's leadership is so disconnected from reality that they do
not understand this!
So... what is
their actual agenda? Dare anyone ask? Or suggest?
It is so obvious, and I just
cannot fathom why anyone would be so stupid or blind to deliberately follow such
a policy. Unless they want everlasting warfare!
As Israel has
maneuvered America into fighting its wars in the rest of the Middle East, so has
it maneuvered or bought Abbas into fighting its battles in Palestine.
I have long said that when the
absurd and the outrageous happens in such a big way, to everyone's disadvantage
and cost, one of the best ways to identify who did it is to look to see
who benefits the most.
Guess who the beneficiary is!
The cupidity of
man is understandable, that is the way some are... but the sheer stupidity of
some who think they are invisible or can get away with blatant daylight theft,
that no one will notice, is remarkable.
For example,
Bernie Madoff may have had great vision, in scope. But he, too, was incapable
of seeing past the large pile of money. Just how much can you steal for how
long, before someone notices?
In such cases it
is not a question of how much, but simply when! Stupid!
Just like Insane
Israeli leadership, and Arab leaders lassitude.
