Tehran, Dec 30, IRNA - Iran's Red Crescent Society expressed readiness to set up a field hospital in Gaza Strip or in one of the countries in the vicinity of the tiny piece of land.

According to a report by the Public Relations Department of the society, the entity intends to help treat those wounded by Zionist regime's attacks on Gaza.

It has also announced preparedness to transfer the wounded to Iran and treat them here.

The society made the move following the continuation of Israeli attacks on Gaza and blockage of Gaza Strip.

A consignment of 2,000 tons of food and medicine was shipped from Bandar Abbas to Gaza Strip yesterday.
