TEHRAN, Feb. 4 (ISNA)-Expanding Iran-Britain economic ties was the goal of an Iranian board visiting Britain, the head of Tehran's chamber of commerce Yahya Ale Eshagh said.
A board from Iranian chamber of commerce traveled to London a few days ago and met heads of London chamber of commerce, the Middle East union and Iran-Britain joint chamber of commerce.
Unreasonable political approaches taken against Iran-Britain economic ties and ways for expanding bilateral relations were the issues discussed in the meetings.
Iranian board also warned over imposing more sanctions against Iran in the meetings.
The two side's officials also conferred over losses imposed on Iran as a result of sanctions and unreasonable political decisions and stressed such measures could damage other countries as well.
British private sector officials expressing concerns over suffering losses occurred due to wrong political approaches against Iran said such approaches will damage Tehran-London trade ties in long term.
Iranian and British officials have agreed to exchange business boards.
British trade delegates comprising of private sector businessmen are to travel to Tehran to pave the way for boosting bilateral transactions.
Investment in different projects such as construction and railroads were the issues the two sides discussed.
Britain's private sector officials said issuing resolutions against Iran have failed to influence on this country.
