TEHRAN, Feb. 09 (ISNA)-Iran continues to export gas to Turkey, head of the public relations unit of Iranian national gas company said.
Denying Iran's stopping of gas export to Turkey, Ebadollah Ghanbari said Iran is now pumping gas to this country.
His remarks occurred where as the Turkish energy minister Hilmi Guler said Iran's gas export influenced by bad weather conditions dropped and halted.
Guler, taking part in a meeting held in Iranian embassy in Ankara, said Iranian officials have started talks to resolve the issue.
The previous gas stop occurred due to harsh climate conditions which lasted for 3 weeks. Iran resumed gas deliveries on January 27th.
Meanwhile one of the top officials in the Turkish energy ministery said Iran has resumed pumping gas to his country since a few hours ago.
Turkey is to import 2 million cubic meters of Iran's gas from Saturday, he added.
