TEHRAN, Feb. 15 (Mehr News Agency) -- French stage director Fabrice Nicot and choreographer Rejane Douarre will hold workshops at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Tehran this semester.
Nicot will be holding a workshop based on Anton Chekhov's celebrated play "Cherry Orchard". Students will be asked to give impromptu performances of the play from three different angles. Nicot will then choose the best performance and the six best students for his new play, which will be based on Chekhov's "Cherry Orchard".
Nicot and Douarre will also be holding a joint workshop entitled "Movement, Dance, and Video" in which the actors will be required to instill a poetic feeling into their movements during their performances.
Nicot previously directed the Iranian-French joint projects "Oedipus" and "The Butterfly and the Yoke", which were staged in Iran and France
