TEHRAN, Feb. 16 (ISNA)-An Iranian official said "lack of firmness" by Washington is responsible for postponing negotiations on Iraq.
"The U.S. was not firm about this issue although they had expressed they were ready, therefore the sides couldn't come up with a final decision on the date," this official noted.
The U.S. had announced that the exact date was not set but what is obvious is that Iran was determined on its decision, the official added.
The official also explained since the two sides do not trust each other it is probable to hear ideas around getting concessions.
This official also announced that an Iraqi board is to step into Tehran to discuss the operation of Algiers 1975 accord on Tuesday February 19th.
