President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, for his part, said that "Iran has no restrictions in boosting bilateral ties with Qatar."

"All capacities should be used to enhance the relations between Iran and Qatar," IRNA quoted the Iranian president as saying.

During the meeting the Qatari prime minister said that "Qatar shares same stances with Iran on most political issues."

"The political ties between Iran and Qatar are at a high level and we hope the relations between the two countries will be further enhanced in different fields," he concluded.
