Tehran, Jan 5, IRNA - The city of Haftgol and its nearby villages, in the southwestern Khuzestan province, were once again hit by quake on Saturday.
A 4.4-Richter scale quake shook the region at 11:37 hours local time (0807 GMT), according to reports by the country's seismological bases affiliated to Geophysics Institute of Tehran University.
An earthquake with an intensity of 3.9 on the Richter scale had hit the Haftgol outskirts at 10:39 hours local time (0709GMT) Saturday.
The first quake was epicentered in an area located 49.52 degrees in longitude and 31.63 degrees in latitude, the report added.
The epicenter of the second quake was in an area at 49.49 degrees in longitude and 31.60 in latitude.
There are no reports of any casualty or damage to property caused by the quakes.
