Liquidity still on the rise in Iran

TEHRAN, Jan. 19 (Mehr News Agency) -- The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) reported here on Saturday that liquidity rose in the country to 37.3 percent, a 15.3 percent rise in comparison to the figure for the beginning of the Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2007).

The CBI report added that over $73 billion in liquid assets were injected into the national economy during the period and the central bank's foreign currency reserves hit $73 billion, for a 27.4 percent rise compared to the figure for the preceding year.
