U.S. presence in the region, its Achilles heel: Iranian commander

TEHRAN, Jan. 27 (ISNA)-Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Mohammad-Ali Jafari announced the U.S. officials know very well that their army is within the gunshot of Iran's long-range weapons.

Interviewed with Al-Jazeera he noted the U.S. troops presence in the region is not a strong point for them but an Achilles heel as a U.S. military analyst had said.

Iranians would not let foreigners to intrude their country and that is what has been proved throughout history by their unity against foreigners, he stated.

"If the U.S. decides to attack Iran, our reaction would be an all-out defense with full power," Jafari asserted.
