Tehran, Jan 29, IRNA - Judiciary spokesman Ali-Reza Jamshidi said on Tuesday that eight more university students arrested for taking part in students unrest would be released soon.

Iran: Protests Lend Momentum To Students' Struggle

The initial investigation into their cases have finished and they will be released on bail in the coming days, Jamshidi told domestic and foreign reporters.

The spokesman had also announced on January 15 that 11 university students would be released on bail.

He added that some 19 students were in custody.

Jamshidi ruled out any new arrest of university students.
