Internship Opportunities with Mashhad Positive Club

 

Mashhad Positive Club (MPC) focuses on HIV and Positive Prevention activities and is in partnership with UN agencies, NGOs and government bodies.

 

HIV and AIDS Prevention for Students
(March 2007, Mashhad, Iran)

 

Mashhad Positive Club (Registered as Hamyaran Mosbat Shargh, Non-Financial and Non-Political Organization) was established in May 2007 in the northeastern city of Mashhad in Iran. MPC is a joint program of Ministry of Health Center for Disease Control, UNAIDS, Federation of Youth Health and Family Planning Association. MPC's activities are based on Positive Prevention, Psychosocial Support to PLHIV, Peer Education and Counseling services. In line with the above mentioned activities MPC is in collaboration with Khorasan Razavi Health Center, Police (Deputy for Social Affairs), SWO, Emam Khomeini Care Committee, Coordination Council against Drug Use and The Applied Research Development Institute for Youth (for Adolescent Friendly Services.

 

MPC received the "Red Ribbon Award 2008" from the United Nations.
 

 

Intern Qualifications:

Prefer BA or higher degree in health or other related studies; but those who are interested in HIV Prevention are welcomed.

 

Internship Duration:

Internship is available for three months or more in Mashhad, base of MPC.
