TOKYO, Japan, June 8 (Mehr News Agency)-- Iran's hapless Volleyball Team won 3-0 over Australia in its last match of the FIVB World Olympic Qualification tournament in Tokyo, Japan, on Sunday.

Iran edged out Australia in three sets by (25-18), (25-16), (25-23) at the Metropolitan Gymnasium.

It was Iran's second victory in the tournament. Persians had already swept Thailand 3-1 in the competitions. Iran suffered five losses to Algeria, Japan, Argentina, Italy and South Korea.

Italy and Japan qualified for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as the tournament's champion and the best Asian team respectively.
