TEHRAN, June 20 (Mehr News Agency)--Iran's Table Tennis Team will travel to the U.S. to hold a joint training camp with their American counterparts.

Following Iran's good performance in the 49th World Team Table Tennis Championships in Guangzhou, China, the U.S. officials have invited Iran to hold a joint training camp in the American city of Las Vegas.

Iran beat the U.S. team 3-1 in that event.

The nine-player team will fly to the U.S. via Dubai International Airport on Saturday.

Iran will also participate in the Las Vegas Open Table Tennis Tournament to be held from July 2 to 5 with the participation of about 700 players.
