TEHRAN, June 24 (Mehr News Agency) - According to scheduled plans, Iran will order the first LNG tanker to eligible manufacturers in August this year, Mehr quoted the managing director of Iran Natural Gas Liquefaction Company saying on Tuesday.
Ali Kheirandish added two Japanese and a European company have proposed their bids so far.
Isfahan refinery output to be tripled
ISFAHAN, June 24 (Mehr News Agency) - Isfahan refinery's gasoline and LNG output has been projected to triple by 2012, the managing director of Isfahan Oil Refining Company stated on Tuesday.
Manouchehr Aqanejad added by the mentioned year, the jet fuel production capacity of the refinery will be boosted by 2.5 times.
For the time being, the refinery produces 8 million liters of gasoline per day, he said, adding the figure will be augmented to 22 million liters per day, Mehr reported.
The daily LNG and jet fuel outputs of the refinery are currently 13 million liters and 3 million liters which will be respectively increased to 18 million liters and 9 million liters by 2012, he explained.
