TEHRAN, March. 01 (ISNA)-Iran is to purchase 100 Russian Topolov-204 and Topolov-214 planes during the next 10 years.

An agreement for 2 to 2.5 billion dollars will be signed in May including both export of the planes and permission for assembly in Iran and Russia. But experts believe Iran does not have enough time to assemble the planes.

Another agreement is supposed to be signed for servicing and repairing the planes and also purchase of 5 Topolov-334 in 5 years.

A board of Russia's corporation for plane producing visited HESA plane factory and IACI foundation in Iran which produce plane engines. That is while the Russian side doubts Iran's ability for producing 68 Topolov-204 and Topolov-214 by 2010 in Iran.
