Press TV -- Iran's water polo team will face Kazakhstan on Friday in the FINA Men's Water Polo Olympic Games Qualifiers being held in Oradea, Romania.

The Iranian team will play against Kazakhstan from group A at 4:30 pm.

Iran was defeated by Macedonia 11-6 in its fifth match on Thursday evening.

Earlier, the Iranian team tied 8-8 with Mexico on Tuesday but was defeated by Germany, Italy, and Canada.

Iran competes in group B with Mexico, Germany, Italy, Canada and Macedonia.

Twelve teams are competing in two groups in the tournament that began March 2 and will end on the 9th.

The three leading teams will qualify for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
