Tehran, March 12, IRNA -- President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono wound up his official visit to Iran on Wednesday and left Tehran for Dakar, Senegal, where he is to attend a summit of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
President Yudhoyono arrived here Monday afternoon heading a high-ranking political and economic delegation and held separate meetings with senior Iranian officials including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
While in Tehran, the Indonesian delegation signed five documents on bilateral cooperation.
President Yudhoyono and his entourage were seen off at Tehran Mehrabad International Airport by First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi and a number of senior officials from Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
President Yudhoyono had been officially seen off Tuesday evening by his Iranian counterpart at the site of Presidential premises downtown Tehran.
