An annual report/survey on the best in Iranian media in 2007 has been announced.

Among the best print media are: Bokhara Monthly (cultural journals), World of Football (sports), Ideal Life (most commonly read magazine), Sharhvand Emrooz (best political social newspaper), Hamshahri Javan (best paper for young readers) and Ham Mihan (most popular national newspaper).

The most popular  Web sites are: Istgah, Balatarin Blagfa, Akasi and Fars news service.

Among the best blogs in Iran are: Keyboard Azad (free keyboard) Bamdadi, Malakout, Web Do, Didehban Mohit Zist (environment watchdog).

The best pod casts, TV and radio programs are also ranked.

The survey, administered on www.topmedia.ir, is conducted each year by the Haftsang Web site. The jury consists of media professionals and political commentators in different fields.

Finalists will be picked at the end of Norouz (the Persian New Year). Votes can be cast throughout the season that began on March 20 and will continue until April 2, through the Web site, www.7sang.com.
