DUBAI, UAE, May. 11 (Mehr News Agency)-- Iran's beach soccer team qualified for the 2008 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup after beating China here on Saturday.

Iran defeated China 4-1 and came third in the tournament held in Jumeirah, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

The UAE and Japan had previously won the first and second places in the tournament.

FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will take place in Marseilles, France, on July 17-27, 2008.
